協會簡介

History

In 1969, a Belgian priest Alophonse Souren was the first to introduce Orff-Schulwerk teaching to Taiwan. The " Orff-Schulwerk Teaching Methodology Promotion Center" in Guangren Primary School was set up, thus opening the first course of teaching Orff in Taiwan. In 1988 A group of enthusiastic Orff-Schulwerk teaching educators began to organize associations. In May 1992 by the Ministry of the Interior approved the establishment of "China Orff-Schulwerk Association, by Chen Huiling as the first chairman. In 2009 changed its name to Taiwan Orff-Schulwerk Association.

Purpose

Applying the concept of Orff teaching  with the  foundation of Chinese culture to expand the art teaching content of music, literature, art, rhythm, movement and drama. To bring people together, who are interested in this method, to develop material that is suitable for our country's music education.  We want to  communicate with other Orff Organizations throughout the world and advance the level of art education.
